UPTET 2020 Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test is a Uttar Pradesh state-level exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Education Board (UPBEB).
The exam is only conducted once a year for the recruitment of primary teachers (classes I-V) and upper primary teachers (classes VI-VIII) level in schools of Uttar Pradesh Education Board.
- UPBEB released Official UPTET 2019 Notification PDF on October 31-10-2019.
- The last date to registration for the exam is November 20-11-2019.
- Candidates must processes a graduate degree & relevant teacher training diploma to satisfy UPTET Eligibility Criteria
- UPTET Exam Pattern consists of two papers – Paper I (for primary teachers) and Paper II (for upper primary teachers). Those who want to apply for both the levels will have to appear in both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- UPTET Syllabus includes Child Development and Teaching Methodology, Language 1 and 2, Mathematics, Environmental studies, Science and Social studies.
- Candidates who successfully register for the test will be issued the admit card on December 12, 2019.
More than 15 lakh candidates appear for UPTET exam every years.
In 2018 more than 17 lakh students appeared for UPTET while a total of 18.25 lakh candidates applied for the exam.

UPTET Eligibility for Exam
UPTET Exam has two sets of applicants –1: Primary Teachers (Classes 1 to 5) and 2:. Upper Primary Teachers (Classes 6 to 8).
UPTET Eligibility Criteria for both of them are different types.
UPTET Exam Qualification for Primary Teachers
- Bachelor’s degree with More than 55% marks from a recognized Best university & 2 years Diploma from N.C.T.E | Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years B.T.C., C.T. (Nursery)| Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)
- Bachelor’s degree with qualification in Special B.T.C. Training
- Bachelor’s degree with the 2 years qualification & BCT Urdu special training in Uttar Pradesh Education Board
- Bachelor’s degree & Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University (For Urdu Teachers)
UPTET Exam Qualification for Upper Primary Teachers
- Bachelor’s degree & B.T.C from National Council for Teacher Education & from approved institute of any educational board
- Bachelor’s degree with More than 55% marks & B.Ed |B.Ed Special Education from Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
- Intermediate (10+2) More than 55% marks & 4 year B.A | B.S.C.| B.A. from N.C.T.E.& Any U.G.C recognized institute
- Intermediate (10+2) More than 55% or marks & 4 year Degree (B.Ed) in Primary Education Board
- Bachelor’s degree with More than 45% & B.Ed degree in any Educational board
UPTET Exam Age Limit
The age of the up-tet exam applicant must be between 18 to 35 Years only.
Candidates who belong to this categories would be given age relaxation as per the norms prescribed by the government of uttar Pradesh .
How to Apply for UPTET EXAM 2019
UPTET Exam 2019 Application Forms are available from November 1 -11-2019 upto 20-11-2019 It will be filled in any online mode only not any offline mode.
The application form for UPTET 2019 Exam can be filled by following the given steps below:
Step 1 – Online Registration
- UPTET applicant must be register themselves on the official website of UPBEB gov.in.
- During the registration Columns that are marked with ‘*’, don’t left them blank if you left them blank you can’t fill your form .
- Fill in the most important details correctly such as Name, educational qualifications, personal details and Other details asked in that online form.
- It is a mandatory to select the district in UPTET Exam Registration form, where candidate wants to appear for the UPTET exam.
- Applicant must have latest scanned photograph and signature.
Step 2 – UPTET Application Fee Payment
- Payment of fees is done after UPTET Exam form Registration is done.
- The fee has to be paid through any online mode only.
- Online options include Debit and Credit Cards of various banks of India only.

Step 3 – Fill UPTET Application Form
- After the payment of UPTET Fees, complete the UPTET Online Form and mention the Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- See your preferred exam centers and complete the online form.

Step 4 – Upload Photo and Signature

UPTET 2019 Exam Pattern – Paper-I & Paper-II:
UPTET 2019 Exam will be conducted in two separate shifts for Paper-I & Paper-II.
Paper-I is for candidates intending to teach Class 1 to 5 and Paper-II is for Class 6 to 8.
A total of 150 questions will be asked in both the papers in objective-type format (multiple-choice questions – MCQs).

UPTET Exam 2019 Admit Card
UPBEB will issue UPTET Exam Admit Card on December 12, 2019. It will be available in any type of online mode only & at the official website of UPTET.
Candidates must have to login at updeled.gov.in with their registration number and password and download the admit card.
Steps to Download UPTET 2019 Admit Card:

- In official website Click on UPTET Admit Card link option
- Provide all the necessary details like UPTET Registration Number and Password| Date of Birth
- Click on the Submit button

UPTET Exam Result 2019
UPTET Exam Results 2019 is expected to be declared as soon on the Last Week Of January via any online mode.
The Uttar Pradesh educational board will announced the UPTET exam Result 2019 once the evaluation of OMR Sheet Copies is done by the authorities at its official website upbasiceduboard.gov.in.
